So I made my own nut butter for the first time just to make this recipe. Homemade cashew butter and these cookies are just about the best things ever. I will be making these again for sure. Yum!

So aesthetically everything I enjoy and more. Anywho, I made these cookies this morning for my “anti-health food” 18 year old brother who has been complaining about “nothing good to eat” around the house (we’re both home from college…). I only used 1/4 cup raw sugar and in my opinion they still tasted amazing! Try it yourself, see if it’s worth carving out the 3/4 cup. I also nixed the chocolate and added some flax, and wow, he’s already almost polished them off. Awesome! 🙂
