I love it every single time I make it, as does everyone I have ever made it for. Made many, many times mostly during the colder months in Texas and now I make it in Oregon. Love it with fresh parsley the best! It’s so delicious and I always feel so nourished afterwards!

I made it as written, and not being familiar with presentation, I smoothed it with a stick blender. It came out nice and smooth, but (and this is not bad ) it feels grainy in the mouth. However, it’s robust, and a ladle of it is nice and filling . New for this year I’m switching over to plant-based eating, so it’ll be a nice addition to my vegan recipes. Very easy to make, too, given you almost always have all the ingredients in the pantry already. Thanks for posting!
